About the Podcast

Hosted by long-distance cousins Archie (a laid-back philosopher frog from the backwoods of Southern Alabama) and Shelly (a high-energy adventurer from the beaches and deserts of Southern California), Two Frogs Talking is a weekly show that blends storytelling, family memories, oddball characters, and a healthy dose of philosophical reflection.

Each episode is built around a theme—like “Too Good to Be True” or “Short Attention Span Adventures”—and features one family story and one tall tale. Sometimes they’re true. Sometimes they’ve just got good bones. Either way, they’re always not quite right.

Why we do it:

We’re carrying on a family tradition. Our late grandmother, maw-maw, was a master storyteller who believed the best stories weren’t just about what happened—they were about what you learned. Two Frogs Talking is our way of keeping her spirit alive and staying connected after too many missed visits.
