About Shelly

Shelly Smith is a SoCal frog with Alabama roots, a wild sense of adventure, and a calendar full of volunteer gigs, from dog beach patrol to equine therapy. Based in Huntington Beach, she runs a doggie daycare and lives for the outdoors—off-roading, surfing, and desert camping whenever she can. Shelly falls in love fast, drives like she means it, and has a knack for getting tangled up in things most frogs would sidestep. She doesn’t name her vehicles (that’s more Archie’s thing), but she’ll give you a nickname in ten seconds flat. Raised on family storytelling trips, Shelly’s stories are big, bold, and occasionally a little sandy. She’s quick to laugh, ready with a comeback, and always chasing the next curiosity.
